Antony gets destroyed after his top dribble with Manchester United against Sheriff Tiraspol
Established in the right lane of Manchester United on Thursday evening against Sheriff Tiraspol, the Brazilian Antony stood out by performing his signature gesture in the first period. Obviously not to everyone's taste.

Arrived last summer at Manchester United, the Brazilian Antony was quick to find his feet in the Mancunian attack. Scorer from his first against Arsenal (3-1), he quickly became one of the key elements of Erik ten Hag's MU.

A month and a half later, the situation may have changed for Antony, as Manchester United faced Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday in the Europa League (3-0).

This gesture, certainly beautiful but far from being effective, was clearly not unanimous. Erik ten Hag, his manager, did not hesitate to bring him out at the break.

"It's just ridiculous, it's sham. Look at Erik ten Hag's reaction, that sums it all up. No one is amused. It's 0-0 and on top of that he loses the ball behind", dropped Paul Scholes, consultant for BT Sport.

"If you want to do that, you have to have a good pass behind. We don't do that at 0-0. We don't even do it when we win 3-0 or 4-0. You have to show respect for the team. 'adversary', echoed Owen Hargreaves.
